A zoo in Italy was faced with the challenge of finding a treatment system that not only works efficiently but can also cope with the large fluctuations in the amount of wastewater. Visitor numbers vary daily, the zoo is closed at night and seasonal fluctuations make planning even more difficult. The solution was a two-line KLARO system in which one of the two lines can be switched off during the low season. This significantly reduces operating costs while keeping the system flexible and efficient.
