The village of Walchensee, with around 600 inhabitants, needed a new wastewater treatment plant. After years of discussions about the best method for treating wastewater, the decision was finally made in favour of a decentralised solution from KLARO.
The decisive factor was our transparent cost structure, which enabled every citizen to see all costs incurred from the outset.
In addition, the local Gasthof zur Post had to be modernised. The limited space, the seasonally fluctuating wastewater volumes and high cleaning requirements posed particular challenges for the system.

Solution with KLARO wastewater treatment plants:
Two-line KLARO complete system
designed for 200 PE, 150 m³ per day
installed in 4 concrete tanks
Additional dosing technology for P-precipitation and a UV module for further wastewater treatment
