From sewage to irrigation
A workers’ camp in Al Khor, Qatar, has been equipped with a 320-person wastewater treatment plant. The giant above-ground rectangular tank was cast on site. Next to it is a machine room complete with machine technology and a sand filter unit. Additional chlorination of the water also takes place from here in-house. The treated water is stored in a white storage silo and gradually used for irrigation.
