Gold washing process with gold particles and process water

Developing Modular Water Treatment Solutions for Gold Mining

AAA Wastewater Treatment Systems is currently developing a new range of compact, containerized water treatment systems for gold mining and gold washing operations.

A key focus of the development is the treatment of water contaminated during gold processing. Depending on the mining and processing method, this may include mercury, cyanides, arsenic and other heavy metals, as well as suspended solids and other process-related contaminants.

The systems are being developed as modular solutions in different flow-rate capacities, allowing the treatment configuration to be adapted to specific water qualities, contaminants and site requirements.

Optional modules will include solar power supply and advanced water reuse solutions. Treated water can be returned to the gold washing process or further treated for environmentally responsible reuse or discharge.

The objective is to provide a flexible, robust and easily deployable solution that helps reduce the environmental impact of gold mining while conserving valuable water resources – particularly in remote locations with limited infrastructure.

Work in progress – more details will follow as development continues.
